CLINICAL EXPERIENCE:
I am currently a Consultant Gynaecologist at King’s College Hospital. I have a broad experience in general gynaecology. My specialist interest is in  in Reproductive endocrinology including Menopause, and Infertility and polycystic ovarian syndrome. I also have a specialist interest in colposcopy. 

Menopause and PMS

I have had a special interest in the menopause and HRT for many years. I have undertaken many research projects in this field including the use of different forms of HRT in the prevention of postmenopausal osteoporosis and the effects of HRT on skin thickness and collagen content. The findings of these studies have been published in peer review journals. I have also undertaken research studies in the management of PMS and a number of review articles in this field.

Infertility

I have a major interest in this field. I do work at the A.L..U at Kings’ College Hospital which specialises in the treatment of the infertile couple, including in-vitro fertilisation and Intra Cytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI). (I also have a special interest in Gynaecologist endocrinology including PMS).

Colposcopy

I have had an interest in Colposcopy for many years and in my present post I have  two Colposcopy Clinics a week. I am accredited by the BSCCP.

Gynaecological surgery

I have had a broad surgical training and to have regular theatre list at King’s College Hospital.
